Elizabeth Barrette writes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in the fields of speculative fiction, gender studies, and alternative spirituality.  Recent poetry publications include "A Chrome Attic" in Not One of Us, "Pearls Before Swine" in Star*Line, and "Noplace Like Home" in Strange Horizons. Her poem "Beach Climbing" was nominated for the Rhysling Award in 2007.  She serves as Managing Editor of PanGaia  magazine (www.pangaia.com); and as Dean of Studies for the Grey School of Wizardry (www.greyschool.com), where she teaches a four-part course in poetry.  Her book Composing Magic is due out in July.  She enjoys suspension-of-disbelief bungee-jumping and spelunking in other people’s reality tunnels. Zachary C. Bush, 24, is a writer of poetry, prose, interviews, and book-reviews. His creative work has appeared in over two dozen literary journals, with more to come in GHOTI, Calliope Nerve, The Orange Room Review, Zygote in my Coffee, Debris, and VOX. He is also the author of two chapbooks: Outside the Halfway House (Scintillating Publications: 2007), and We Swallow(ed) Spiders in our Sleep (Pudding House Publications: 2007), and a third chapbook through Kendra Steiner Editions: expected in late 2007. ZCB is the new co-editor of poetry at Thieves Jargon (www.thievesjargon.com) and an operative member of the Guerilla Poetics Project (www.guerillapoetics.com).

Kevin Coyle is an attorney who was raised and educated in New York City. Kevin and his wife Amanda have two sons: Matthew and Michael, ages nine and seven. Kevin was named the "Featured Writer" for the Spring 2006 edition of Ampersand, in which one of his short stories was published. His stories have also appeared in Buffalo Carp, RAGAD, Bewildering Stories, the premiere issue of The Literary Bone, Johnny America, Poor Mojo’s Almanac(k), the first two issues of moonShine review, Catfish Stew, and the fiction supplement to the Washington Square News. Two of his stories placed in the quarter-finals (the top 10-15% of all entries per quarter) for the first and fourth quarters of the 2005 L. Ron Hubbard’s "Writers of the Future" Contest. Another one of his stories has been accepted for publication in an upcoming issue of NOVA Science Fiction Magazine. Kevin is hard at work on an alternate-history novel, entitled The Saga of Snorri the Priest, about the Norse settlement of America. He serves on the board of directors for the South Carolina Writers Workshop as well as co-editor of SCWW's new-and-improved literary journal, The Petigru Review. John Grey is an Australian born poet, playwright, musician. His latest book is What Else Is There from Main Street Rag. Recent work of his was published in The English Journal, The Pedestal, Pearl and the Journal Of The American Medical Association.

Steven Mathes writes fiction as well as articles about computer system administration. For a long time he felt guilty because he tended to think the work of Kafka was funny. His guilt subsided when he discovered that the humor in Kafka's work is intentional. Mathes' guilt returned when he realized that Evil itself strikes him as funny, but he now takes solace in knowing that people doing evil hate being laughed at.

Carole Ann Moleti lives and works in as nurse-midwife in New York City, specializing in the care of socially high risk women and children. She lectures and writes on all aspects of women’s health with a focus on feminist and political issues.  Carole is just finishing Someday I’m Going To Write a Book, a memoir about her experiences as a public health professional in the inner city. She is at work on her second memoir Karma, Kickbacks, and Kids, the title of which is self-explanatory. Janelle Garcia is pursuing an English M.A. degree at Florida Atlantic University. Her short fiction has appeared in online journals such as Antimuse, Espresso Fiction, and Verbsap. Several works are also upcoming in Lachryma: Modern Songs of Lament, Underground Voices, and The Binnacle. She writes from Palm Beach, Florida.

Faith Gardner is 24 years old and lives in Berkeley. She plays music in a band called Hooray for Everything and is trying to finish editing a feature-length movie in her spare time. She enjoys rollerskating and cartoons, and her stories and poems have been featured in Antimuse, Delivered, Lynx Eye, the Green Hills Literary Lantern and more.

Karen L. Newman is the author of the poetry collections EEKU (Sam's Dot) and ChemICKals (upcoming from Naked Snake Press). Over 150 of  her short stories and poems have been published since 2004, both online and  in print. Blossom Plumb

Bruce Holland Rogers is an American writer living temporarily in London, England. His stories have won two Nebula Awards, two World Fantasy Awards, the Stoker, and a Pushcart Prize, and have also been translated into two dozen languages.
